GET HELP NAVIGATING THE HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETPLACE
Enrollment begins in November. Let certified staff in your area help you fill out applications and enroll for coverage. Staff are certified Navigators through the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
Navigators provide in-person resources to assist citizens shopping for and enrolling in health care coverage. There is no charge or income restriction for this service.
Consumers can schedule individual appointments for assistance completing and enrolling for coverage on-line. Consent is needed to collect and work with personal information. Limited contact information will be requested in order for Navigators to follow-up on the application and enrollment process.
All health plans offered through the Marketplace must cover a comprehensive set of benefits, including physician visits, preventive care, hospital stays and prescriptions. Plans must treat everyone fairly. Discrimination against pre-existing conditions will be banned.
United Community Action Program, Inc. is one of a 16-member consortium, comprised of community action agencies across Oklahoma, led by Little Dixie Communication Action Agency. Through the Oklahoma Community Action Agency Navigator Consortium, 68 of the state's 77 counties will be served this year.
