Children and Adult Food
Care Program (CACFP)
CACFP is a federally funded food program through the USDA that provides reimbursement for serving nutritious meals to children in DHS licensed Daycare homes. Providers who participate in this program not only receive reimbursements they also get to work with friendly, knowledgeable staff who have years of experience and can provide in-home training. Providers also receive yearly training, Free UCAP mailing labels, access to a toll-free phone number, and yearly reimbursement statement for tax purposes. You can be guaranteed quick response to calls and emailed questions, DHS training hours, and can access other services that are provided by UCAP.
This program benefits children by providing proper nutrition during early childhood years, helps them establish healthy and stable eating patterns, and these meals follow the USDA food guidelines. Parents are assured that their children who participate in this food program at their Daycare are receiving high quality, well balanced meals. Every parent knows that proper nutrition leads to healthy and happy kids.

Now offering the Minute Menu web-based program to providers. This program allows providers quick access for submitting monthly paperwork and other services.
